Print vs Digital 📚📱

So, recently I have found myself hearing & reading things about print vs digital books. I figured this would have ended by now, but no. 🙄

I will not lie. I use to be a devout printed book reader & wouldn’t even think about getting a digital book.

I, for lack of a better word, was against digital books when they started becoming a big thing.

This was from before I even started book blogging & reviewing.

I quickly lost this mindset & view of digital books. After many conversations about the subject I realized they are no different from each other when you get down to the heart of it.

I now own a large amount of printed books along with digital.

I still greatly prefer printed books but I have no issues with owning a digital book.

So, here is what I have to say about it all.

~Printed books are NOT superior to digital books & vice versa.

~Printed books will not “die out” due to digital books. They are still greatly demanded by readers.

~Digital books are still BOOKS! Being in a digital format does not change this.

~Someone who reads only digital books is still a true book reader/lover. Do not tell them otherwise.

~Finally. Be respectful. You are free to state your preferences in reading formats but do not tear down someone else because they don’t share your opinion.

Whether it is in print or digital format, reading is still reading.
