I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Y'all, I finished this book in two days. TWO. DAYS.

I cannot remember the last time I finished a book this quickly.

First, I need to explain that I have been having a lot of difficultly lately with reading and keeping up with my books. I would enjoy the books I was attempting to read but they just didn't seem to be exactly what I was looking for. So, I would put it down and then not pick it back up for some time.

I was a little hesitant with starting Unleashed because I am not really into the reverse harem genre when it comes to books. That begin said, I am VERY happy with that I decided to give it a chance. The story of Unleashed is a refreshing paranormal romance with a post-apocalyptic vibe throughout. The characters are wonderful and enjoyed getting to read the story through different points of view. Though I do hope to see some of the story through Luke's eyes in book 2 since we did not get that with Unleashed.

I am a big fan of the fact that Wren did not feel any insta-love with the guys. That is always a pet peeve of mine. With Kite she already has some story and a relationship that was growing before it went any further. I, personally, prefer the buildup and story involved in the relationships, not the instant heart eyes and "I am so in love with you" junk.

Also, can we get a round of applause for the respectable men Wren was paired with?

I absolutely love that no matter what it is about they make sure Wren only does what she wants and what she is comfortable with. Now they do state their peace and will argue with her if they do not agree with her, but in the end, it comes down to it being HER choice. I mean they even give her the choice to just walk away and not save the world if that is what see truly wants to do!

I am so happy to see that this seems to be the path being taken with Unleashed. Overall it is an amazing read and I cannot wait to get my hands-on book 2.
